Sarah’s Seeds is named in loving memory of my grandmother, Sarah Jernigan Phillips—the heart and inspiration behind all that I aspire to do. Her love, strength, grace, and quiet wisdom continue to guide my path and inspire this work, like seeds she planted in me long ago that are still growing.
My grandmother was the definition of strength and selfless love. After the passing of my grandfather, she continued raising her children with unwavering faith, resilience, and determination. Even through hardship, she remained a source of warmth, stability, and compassion for everyone around her.
She had a special way of making people feel seen, valued, and deeply cared for. Through her kindness and generosity, she planted seeds of hope, love, and compassion wherever she went. Her life was a reflection of service, humility, and unconditional love, and the impact she made continues to live on through the people she touched.
Sarah’s Seeds is more than a name—it is a tribute to her legacy and a promise to continue planting those same seeds in the lives of others. It is my hope that through this organization, her love will continue to uplift hearts, strengthen communities, and remind people that they matter and are never alone.
