In Loving Memory of Sarah Jernigan Phillips
Sarah's Seeds was founded in loving memory of my grandmother, Sarah Jernigan Phillips—the heart and soul behind all that I aspire to do. She is my greatest inspiration, and her love, strength, grace, and quiet wisdom continue to shape my life like seeds she planted in me long ago that continue to grow.
My grandmother embodied resilience and selfless love. She raised nine children, and after the passing of her husband, she courageously continued raising four of them on her own. Through every challenge, she remained a source of faith, stability, and unconditional love for our family.
She had a remarkable gift for making everyone she encountered feel truly seen, deeply valued, and genuinely loved. Through every kind word, selfless act, and quiet moment of compassion, she planted seeds of hope, kindness, and love that continue to bloom in the hearts of those whose lives she touched. Her legacy lives on in every life she inspired, reminding us that even the smallest acts of love can leave the greatest impact.
Naming this organization in her honor is more than a tribute—it is a promise to continue her legacy by serving others with compassion, dignity, and hope. My prayer is that Sarah's Seeds will continue cultivating these deep roots in our communities, reaffirming to every person we serve that they are seen, valued, and never alone.
